Rihanna and Chris Brown to perform in Manila

So a friend of mine who’s one of the people behind the much-talked about Rihanna – Chris Brown concert in Manila confirmed last weekend that yes, the uber talented duo (and rumored lovers!) will indeed hold a concert in Manila on November 16, 2008. So yes, it’s true! Rihanna and Chris Brown will indeed be in Manila very soon! IT’S CONFIRMED! This is very good news, indeed! And guess who already booked a flight to Manila? Why, ME, of course! I wouldn’t want to pass up on this chance to watch these two perform live! Problem is, it looks like the venue for the show may be a bit of a problem.

The Ticketworld website actually already has a teaser up but they just indicated the date and nothing more. When I pressed my friend for more details, he said that the venue will be at the Fort Bonifacio Open Field. That’s not good…unless I manage to get front row seats!

Anyways, the Rihanna-Chris Brown event will be produced by MTV Philippines.

Rihanna is known for her hit singles “Umbrella,” “S.O.S.,” “Unfaithful” and two of my current faves, “Disturbia” and “Hypnotized.”

Chris Brown, on the other hand, apart from being a true blue charmer, popularized the songs “Wall to Wall,” “Tear It Up,” (in collaboration with Omarion) “Gimme That” (in collaboration with Lil Wayne) and “So Glad.”

Can’t wait to watch the show and take lots of photos!

I can’t see what all of the uproar is regarding Rihanna browsing a sex store. It is legal, it’s a free country and she can do what she wants to.
