Tabo Sa Umahan 2010 – 80th Founding Anniversary of Misamis Oriental

The Province of Misamis Oriental, Mindanao is celebrating its 80th Founding Anniversary this week! Starting January 11 to 15, 2010, the “Tabo Sa Umahan 2010” will be held at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao.

January 11, 2010:

7:30 am – Thanksgiving Mass
9 am – Opening program with Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri
11 am – Start of judging (LGU booths/exhibits)
1 pm – Pinakataas ug Pinakalami Banana Cake Contest
Cooking Contest (Pinakbet)
6 pm – Musikahan sa Parke
7 pm – Higaonon Night

January 12, 2010:

Display/exhibits will continue

2 pm – Agri-Pasiklaban
3 pm – Goodwill Basketball Game
6 pm – Musikahan sa Parke
7 pm – Muslim Night
- Production Number featuring modern Muslim dances
- MUST dance troupe with El Salvador 4H Club
- Modern dance contest
- OPM contest

January 13, 2010:

Display/exhibits will continue

8:30 am – Booth judging
2 pm – Poster Making Contest
3 pm – Goodwill Basketball Game
6 pm – Musikahan sa Parke
7 pm – Christian (Hispanic Influence) Night
- Production number featuring modern Christian Hispanic Influence Dances
- Kuracha Dance Contest (Sr. Citizens Level)
- Doble-Kara Duet Contest
- School Presenters (Alubijid National High School, Initao National High School, MOSCAT)

January 14, 2010:

Display/exhibits will continue

8 am – Launching of Misamis Oriental Citizens Charter
3 pm – Goodwill Basketball Game
6 pm – Musikahan sa Parke
7 pm – Misamis Oriental Today
- Production Number featuring Misamis Oriental Today – Mis Or Aggies Dancers
- Modern Dance Contest (Provincial Capitol Employees)
- Special Presentation (4H Group) – Gingoog City, Initao, Alubijid, Lugait, El Salvador, YFC Tagoloan

January 15, 2010:

1:30 pm – Tabulation of Results (LGU Booth Contest)

7 pm – Closing Program / Awarding Ceremony
- Intermission Number – OPM Winner and Modern Dance Winner
