Sarangani Province in Mindanao, Philippines has always fascinated me. First, because it's a haven of rich Filipino culture. Second, because it seems to be a great location for photography enthusiasts like myself. Third, because it has a lot of activities for tourists and fourth, because a former classmate of mine has successfully turned this Mindanao province into one of the busiest and most colorful places in the Philippines. Yup, I'm talking about incumbent Sarangani Governor Miguel Rene Dominguez. Today, Sarangani is no longer considered just as "that area you pass through" when you traverse the General Santos City - Davao City highway. It's now a tourism and business hub and a place that you really must visit whenever you're in SOCCSKSARGEN. If only you need to take a quick peek at ...

I know that a lot of non-Mindanaoans have impressions and ideas about Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga del Norte and sadly, more often than not, these aren't good. Let's face it, most of the time, Zamboanga is in the news because of something bad...which actually happens in every other area in the world anyway! Good thing there's an upcoming Zamboanga festival that you might want to attend --- and hopefully through the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2011, your impression of Zamboanga will change/improve and you might find yourself falling in love with this charming city in Mindanao. This October, Zamboanga will celebrate the much-awaited 2011 Zamboanga Hermosa Festival. With the theme, "Fiesta Hermosa...Vamos A Zamboanga!," this Min...

It was a major thing for a certified fan like myself --- not only did I get to meet the boys up close and personal (OMG!!!), spend time with them and see their real, offstage personas, I also had the chance to gather autographs, take lots of photos and...*drum roll please*...meet them again in Manila before they flew out for Los Angeles! *cartwheels* I will share with...
