A lot of Filipinas love Korean beauty brands. Not only are they of very good quality but these Korean beauty products come in cute, eye-catching packaging and they’re affordable. So it’s pretty good news that one of the world’s well-known Korean cosmetics brands has opened not just one but two (!) branches in Northern Mindanao.
Etude House recently opened their Cagayan de Oro City branches – the first was at Centrio Mall along Corrales Avenue and the second at SM City CDO – to the delight of so many ladies here in Mindanao.
Etude House is a global beauty brand and Etude House Centrio CDO and Etude House SM CDO are just two of their over 550 stores worldwide.
Etude House invited Mindanaoan to check out their new Ayala Centrio Mall store. I was also asked to bring along several of my lady blogger-friends not only from Cagayan de Oro but from Bukidnon and Iligan City as well! Needless to say, we all had a blast. We all felt like we were in a candy store! I mean, who wouldn’t love being at Etude House when you see all these goodies?
Yep, that’s Sandara Park of 2NE1. She’s Etude House’s endorser/ambassador
See that green tea facial wipes pack down below? That’s now part of my “kikay kit”!
I am a fan of their BB creams! I always bring a tube with me even during my travels. Try the Etude House BB Magic Cream.
Didn’t I say their products come in cute packaging?
Check out some of my favorite Etude House products – the BB creams, the oil-free lotion (I bought a bottle last December and I just love the smell!), the MoistFull and Wonder Pore lines and the really cute blushes and lipsticks. You should also try their very affordable face masks – perfect to use on a lazy, “me” weekend. Etude House CDO also has makeup accessories and tools.
Visit the two Etude House branches in Cagayan de Oro City – at the ground floor of Ayala Centrio Mall and at SM City CDO along Masterson Avenue.
Thank you Etude House for inviting Mindanaoan and her blogger-friends! We will surely be back
Watsons has opened its 308th store in the Philippines and it’s located in Mindanao Watsons Centrio Mall, which was formally opened to the public last November 9, 2012 (the very same day Centrio Ayala Mall also opened its doors), is the latest addition to the growing Watsons Philippines family. And Mindanaoan is very lucky to be one of the invited guests! Check out the invitation I received. I also wrote about Watsons Centrio Mall in an earlier post.
The Ayala Centrio Mall branch of Watsons brings the Watsons brand of beauty and wellness to a city noted for its accessibility, business growth and tourism attractions; making shopping convenient, enjoyable and more affordable.
Plus here’s an additional fun fact: Watsons Centrio Mall is the very first Watsons store to have the latest design! How’s that for cool?
Here are just a few of the photos I took during the Watsons Centrio branch opening
At Watsons Centrio Ayala Mall, shoppers are welcomed with the store’s modern, spacious, and well-lit interiors, with lifestyle visuals, giving the area a sophisticated and contemporary look. What’s more, shopping is made more convenient as Watsons products are presented using modern fixtures, arranged per zone and properly labeled by category to help shoppers easily find what they are looking for.
Watsons offers a complete range of health, wellness, personal care, cosmetics, skin care, fragrances, beauty accessories etc. Watsons Centrio Mall also offers an exclusive Men’s Zone, as well as an attractive Cosmetics area, where customers can try the latest products and get beauty advice from the accommodating shopping assistants. The new store at Centrio Ayala Mall also houses a Pharmacy section with well-trained pharmacists that provide helpful health advice and free BP check.
Visit Watsons at the 2nd floor of Centrio Mall, Cagayan de Oro City.
Thank you Watsons Philippines for the invitation and thanks to my friends from both the traditional media and blogging communities who accommodated my invitation to also come and cover the event.
If you want Mindanaoan to also cover your event or write about your store, business, shop, cafe, restaurant etc – please feel free to use this CONTACT FORM. Thanks
Who knew that an afternoon of coffee and conversation would result to this?
During my trip to Cebu City a few weeks back, I, along with my brother Nathaniel of Tennis Guru and my friend Johnn of Focal Glass, visited the I.T. Park branch of Coffee Dream. Coffee Dream is one of my favorite coffee chains in the country. And with over 35 stores nationwide, it’s easy to locate one nearest you.
I also wanted to meet and chit chat with Coffee Dream owner (and Cebu provincial vice gubernatorial candidate, too!) Glenn Soco. It wasn’t my first time to meet him, though. I’ve already met up with him and Anna a few times. If you want to know more about Sir Glenn, check out his official Facebook profile or his The Dream Online blog.
Anyways, what was initially planned to be a brief meeting turned out to be several hours of good coffee and even better conversation. Glenn and Anna also made us try this new Coffee Dream drink that they wanted to introduce to the market.
The Coffee Dream new mystery drink tasted SO GOOD my immediate thought was: how amazing would it be if EVERYONE get to taste this?
So I pitched an idea: why not come up with a contest that will allow Coffee Dream customers to have the chance to name the new Coffee Dream Mystery Drink?
Good thing Glenn and Anna (plus my brother Nathaniel and Johnn!) agreed with me and liked the idea!
Lo and behold — the Coffee Dream Name That Mystery Drink contest!
How to join:
Just buy any Coffee Dream grande drink and you’ll be a given a FREE sample of this mysterious drink. Name it and post it on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #CoffeeDreamMysteryDrink or #MysteryDrink.
The chosen name will win gift packs from Ralfe Gourmet and gift certificates from Coffee Dream. And of course, the honor of naming one of the drinks sold at Coffee Dream! Just imagine the bragging rights you’ll earn
Believe me, you really, really, REALLY have to try the new drink. Bring your family and friends to Coffee Dream and let them try the new Coffee Dream Mystery Drink as well. It’ll be fun to come up with names!
By the way, I brought along several blogger-friends to Coffee Dream SM Cagayan de Oro last year. And in a few days, Coffee Dream Centrio Ayala Mall will open. Can’t wait to visit!
