Now THIS is an airport! Top Filipino designer Kenneth Cobonpue has just revealed the proposed Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal I design! And all I can say is --- absolutely gorgeous! By the looks of it, the proposed NAIA 1 design may even rival Singapore's Changi Terminal! Changi Terminal remains to be my favorite airport but if this Kenneth Cobonpue NAIA 1 design pushes through, I might have a new fave soon! Kenneth Cobonpue, through his official Facebook account, has revealed the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 Rehabilitation and Renovation plan. Is Mindanao Philippines ready for another Hollywood film shooting? Which area or areas in Mindanao can easily be a great location for the next big Hollywood movie? I can't help but think about these after I read that Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz and a couple of other Hollywood actors and actresses are set to arrive in Manila, Philippines early next year for the shooting of "The Bourne Legacy." According to the Film Development Council of the Philippines, "Bourne Legacy" will shoot scenes in Manila, Philippines by January 2012. The movie is set for release sometime August 2012. Early this week, my cousins, some friends and I went to the Dahilayan Adventure Park in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. Just in case you still do not know, Dahilayan Adventure Park is home to Asia's longest dual cable zipline --- all 840 meters of it! The Bukidnon zipline adventure park is also 4,500 meters above sea level so the climate there's pretty cold :) Anyways, I'll tell you more about my recent trip to this Bukidnon tourist spot in another post. How fast time flies! It's now October and that means one thing --- it's Lanzones Festival time! Lanzones Festival is celebrated yearly in the beautiful island paradise that is Camiguin Island, Mindanao, Philippines! Color Me Badd. All 4 One. I literally waited decades before it happened. And when it finally did, I forgot all the questions that I wanted to ask All 4 One and Color Me Badd for the longest time. I just simply enjoyed every moment I spent with them, did not hesitate to let them know that I was a certified fan, became their self-appointed paparazzi for the day, screamed at the top of my lungs, danced onstage (gulp!) and told them again and again just how loved they all were, still are and always will be! After the successful staging of the Kadayawan Festival in Davao City, the Kagay-an Festival in Cagayan de Oro City, the Tuna Festival in General Santos City and the Bonok Bonok Festival in Surigao, here's a month-long (yes, you read that right! They celebrate their city fiesta for an entire month!) Mindanao fiesta celebration that you might want to participate in. Mindanaoan.com earlier posted the official Diyandi Festival 2011 official schedule of activities --- the 2011 Diyandi Festival is Iligan City's month long cultural celebration. If I'm not mistaken, Iligan City is the only city in the entire Philippines that celebrates its fiesta in one entire month! The contingent from Zamboanga Sibugay, Mindanao bagged the top prize during the Kagay-an Festival 2011 Folkloric Dance Competition (Plowtawo and Dance Showcase) held earlier today, August 26, 2011 at the Pelaez Sports Center, Cagayan de Oro City. The visiting contingent bagged the top prize in this year's "Plowtawo" and folkloric dance competition held in line with the 2011 Kagay-an Festival.
