Walking light with my new fave footwear Native Shoes

Walking light with my new fave footwear Native Shoes

Beauty, Freebies, Gifts, Reviews, Shopping, Style
A few weeks ago, I wrote about the opening of the new Native Shoes store at the 2nd Floor of Ayala Centrio Mall in Cagayan de Oro. A few days after I checked out their new store, I received a really nice pair. Aaahh...brand new shoes! <3 Don't you just love it when you have new footwear? Especially if they're as light and as durable as Native Shoes! Look at what I got: I immediately tried them on and trust me, they're astoundingly light! It's as if you aren't wearing shoes at all. I love the design and the color. Very hip and you can easily pair this with other ensembles. Plus this one's easy to pack, use and clean. Native Shoes are also odor-proof, waterproof and washable. They use dual-density EVA technology. Ergo, not only are the shoes very comfortable to wear, t...

Design tip: here’s a very easy way to spruce up a blank wall

Arts, Beauty, Features, Gifts, Shopping
I just turned one of the bare and boring walls in our home into instant eye candy with the help of wall stickers! Yep, folks, wall stickers. I've been spotting a lot of Pinterest pins about wall decor stickers and I've been wondering where to get them locally when one of my favorite CDO boutiques, Spruce, sent me a set last Christmas 2014! Woohoo! At bilang it's a new year and all, go go go na in decorating paandar! The set I received had two sticker sheets. Each sticker sheet had "leaves" and "branches/stems." Take note that the box I received had no instructions but it did have a sample of a suggested finished look (check out the face of the box). And so, armed with a pair of scissors, a dose of creativity and imagination plus my favorite Spotify playlist blasting in the backgroun...

Where to buy original Sperry Top-sider in Mindanao

Cagayan de Oro City, Consumer, Corporate, Fashion, Features, Mindanaoan Update, Misamis Oriental, Northern Mindanao, Shopping, Style
Want to know where to buy original Sperry Top-sider shoes in Mindanao, Philippines? Look no further! The World’s First Boat Shoe can now be bought in one of Mindanao's best lifestyle stores (and one of my personal favorites, I might add!) - Spruce. The Sperry Top-Sider story is an example of the American knack for ingenuity and innovation. It also represents a love of sun, surf and soul of the ocean...something that the brand coins a "Passion for the Sea". In 1935, Paul Sperry, an avid sailor and outdoorsman, discovered a long- sought solution to a problem that had long troubled the sailing community: the fact that traditional shoes performed “like roller skates” on a wet deck. As Paul Sperry described it, his new shoes "stuck like a barnacle". Sperry Top-siders are known to ...
