The much-awaited “Sitti: In Love With Bossa” concert will finally be held this weekend! This event in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao will benefit the Balay Mindanaw Foundation, Inc. “Sitti: In Love With Bossa” will feature the country’s premiere bossa nova queen, Sitti Navarro, in a concert that will enchant you all before Valentine’s Day.
This CDO show will be held on February 6, 2010 (Saturday), 7:30 PM, Grand Caprice Ballroom, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao.
Ticket prices are as follows: VIP – P1,000 / Patron A – P800.00 / Patron B – P500.00 / Gen. Admission – P300.00

The benefit concert is produced by the Foursome Event Productions. The idea for the concert began when the whole Philippines was shocked when almost 72 person were killed in a massacre in Maguindanao causing fear and panic to the people . The producers immediately thought of something beneficial yet entertaining to help both police and army personnel and decided to produce a benefit concert. “It is the best time for us Filipinos to contribute in helping changing the status of peace and order in Mindanao. Every single Filipino has his own share so everyone should make a move and participate”, according to the producers.

Dubbed “My Davao, My Mindanao,” this photo exhibit showcases the works of photojournalists Jojie Alcantara and Rhonson Ng. The exhibit will show the beauty and grandeur of Davao City and Mindanao through the eyes (and camera lenses!) of Jojie and Rhonson.
