Sashimi All You Can during GenSan’s Tuna Festival 2010!

If you're attending the much-awaited GenSan Tuna Festival 2010 this year and you love tuna sashimi, then consider yourself absolutely lucky! An al fresco "Sashimi Night" will be held on September 25, 2010 at the parking lot and al fresco space of Robinson's General Santos City! For only P150.00, you get ice cold San Miguel Beer drink, access to fab music courtesy of local GenSan artists Centerpoint, Kuerdas, Blackdize and Izek's Quest and of course, all you can eat sashimi! The event is dubbed "Tuna at Tunog." SM General Santos City on the drawing board

Although there haven't been any official statements yet from both SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (the corporation behind the SM supermalls around the country) and the Salazar Family of General Santos City (said to be the owners of an 8-hectare property along Santiago Boulevard, GenSan where SM reportedly intends to put up the SM General Santos Supermall), observers believe that it's a done deal. The fact that General Santos Mayor Pedro Acharon already confirmed the signing of a lease between the two concerned parties, then the project already has the green light. SM reportedly intends to lease the Salazar-owned land for 50 years. And we all know that long-term leases mean financial security for the owners. Good for them, yes? Review: EMR Suites in Koronadal City, Mindanao

My companions and I were billeted at EMR Suites in Koronadal City, Mindanao last week. We were in the land formerly called Marbel for a two-day gig at EMR Center, which was actually just a few steps away from EMR Suites. Two words to describe my 3-night stay? UBER COMFORTABLE. My room had a large queen sized bed (you may also opt for the room with two single beds), an airconditioning unit, a table large enough for you to place your laptop and a few work-related stuff on, a few stools (my room had three), a large flat screen TV, cable connection and space for your clothes. The bathroom, meanwhile, was clean (this is very important, of course). It had hot and cold shower. Water current was strong, which I liked.
