Tabo Sa Umahan 2010 – 80th Founding Anniversary of Misamis Oriental

The Province of Misamis Oriental, Mindanao is celebrating its 80th Founding Anniversary this week! Starting January 11 to 15, 2010, the “Tabo Sa Umahan 2010” will be held at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao.

January 11, 2010:

7:30 am – Thanksgiving Mass
9 am – Opening program with Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri
11 am – Start of judging (LGU booths/exhibits)
1 pm – Pinakataas ug Pinakalami Banana Cake Contest
Cooking Contest (Pinakbet)
6 pm – Musikahan sa Parke
7 pm – Higaonon Night

January 12, 2010:

Display/exhibits will continue

2 pm – Agri-Pasiklaban
3 pm – Goodwill Basketball Game
6 pm – Musikahan sa Parke
7 pm – Muslim Night
– Production Number featuring modern Muslim dances
– MUST dance troupe with El Salvador 4H Club
– Modern dance contest
– OPM contest

January 13, 2010:

3 pm – Goodwill Basketball Game
