Review: Citi Park Hotel Cebu City | Hotels in Cebu City

Nestled along Cabahug Street, Panagdait, Mabolo Cebu City is a relatively new but not too expensive hotel in the Queen City of the South. Citi Park Hotel is conveniently located between Cebu City proper and Mandaue City, making travel time to and fro Cebu International Airport easy.

I had the chance to stay at Citi Park Hotel Cebu during the recent electoral campaigns/sorties. I was with one of the senatorial candidates that I did PR/media relations for and we stayed for two nights at Citi Park Cebu. Here’s a look at their lobby cum lounge. I arranged for a mini press conference here with some of my Cebu media friends:

Here’s the restaurant at this hotel in Cebu City. We took our breakfast here. They serve it buffet style:

This one is similar to the room in Citi Park Hotel Cebu that I stayed in:

Because the hotel is fairly new, neat freaks will for sure have a cozy stay here.

During my stay, service was prompt and staff members were courteous. Breakfast was good and hearty. I guess the only thing that I didn’t like during our brief stay was the fact that their brewed coffee wasn’t as hot as I wanted (and hoped) it would be. I ordered twice and both tasted lukewarm.

If I’m not mistaken, I think we paid nearly P2,500 per room (good for two people). That comes with free breakfast. My room had the standard amenities – LCD TV, cable, hot and cold shower, some toiletries, telephone.

Citi Park Hotel is around 10 minutes away from SM City Cebu and about 15 minutes away from Ayala Mall. It’s around 20 minutes away from the airport. If you want to hit the beaches of Cebu (the ones found in Mactan/Punta Engano), allot around 45 minutes travel time.

I give Citi Park Hotel Cebu a 3.8 out of 5.
