The local version of “The Voice” will soon hit TV and ABS CBN wants to invite interested Mindanaoans to audition for “The Voice of the Philippines.” You can audition for this singing competition at these areas in Mindanao:

There will also be other auditions in these areas – Bacolod, Iloilo, Tacloban, and Cebu on February 23 and in Palawan, Laoag, Naga, Legazpi, Baguio, Dagupan, and Manila on March 9.
You can also audition online. Log-on to www.thevoice.abs-cbn.com. Upload a video of yourself singing a capella until February 19. Auditionees must have Filipino ancestry and must be 16 years of age by June 2013. No minus one, background tracks, or musical instruments can be used in the audition video.
Hopefuls can also provide a video link of their performances from YouTube, Vimeo, or other video-sharing sites as long as it follows the said guidelines.
Meanwhile, ABS CBN has already revealed 2 of the 4 coaches of “The Voice Philippines.”
Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo will be among the coaches. The two will guide and mentor contestants who will be part of their respective teams. They will help the contestants hone their skills to the fullest.
Personally, I think Bamboo is a great choice. I’ve worked with him a couple of times in various events (I was either an event organizer / event producer or a journalist) and I even got the chance to interview him and see another side of this award-winning artist. He’s very FUNNY, smart and is very pleasant to work with.
